Sea Breeze

Sea Breeze was the cleanest and best stocked home we have ever rented! It's our third summer in Corolla and the other two homes we rented from different agencies were so dirty we had to cover the couches. Sea Breeze was spotless. The bathrooms looked like they were recently updated. There was so much natural light and all of the windows sparkled. Our Border Collie had freedom to roam the two secured decks. The decorations were lovely and we felt right at home. The home is tucked in the corner of the cul-de-sac on a tree lined lot that provides a lot of privacy. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, the deck chairs and even the hammock. It was a beautiful week and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Breeze!

Favorite Family Activites: We enjoyed the Corolla Outback Wild Horse Tour. It was a memorable experience and worth every dime. Our favorite activity was sitting at the beach for the last hour of the day. It was like a huge beach party! Families dressed in khaki and white taking their family portraits, volleyball and Frisbee games, dogs frolicking in the surf and chasing crabs, kids shouting with joy when they finally caught a fish. Every night as we reluctantly headed back to the house, groups of families with kids in tow were heading to the beach armed with flashlights, shovels and buckets for an exciting evening of crabbing. These precious memories are what will get me through winter!!

Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: Lighthouse Bagels!!! How did we miss this the last two years! Thank you for the complimentary bagels. Pasquale Pizza! Awesome NY style pizza.

This was our first trip in September as we are OBX regulars two times a season for 14 years ! It was also our first trip back to Corolla in 5 years as we usually stay in Duck . Sea Breeze was generously donated by the owners in a benefit auction to raise money to find homeless dogs in kill shelters forever homes thru Rogers Rescues. We can't thank them enough !!!! and encourage any dog lover to consider this property for rental

The accomodations are truly pet friendly and this is one of the nicests "pet friendly " homes you will ever find. The decks are completely gated as is the pool area. The home is well stocked with all you would need and far from the road as this is important with a pet in an unfamiliar location. The walk to the beach is a lovely sand path thru the low lying native trees and plant life.

We would highly reccomend this home to any family that includes fur kids ! It is high on our list for our newly added SEPTEMBER getaway !

Favorite Family Activites: We go to the Outer banks to escape ...and although we may get a little shopping on ( VERY convienent with Timbuck II less than 5 minutes)
our MO is to go from the beach to the pool to the pool to the beach !

Food shooping was also less than 5 minutes as was the Brew thru !

Again and all around centrally located cottage that is well maintained and well laid out.

Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: We ususally hit the Sunset Grill in Duck at least once. Other than that the Bad Burrito in Timbuck II was a nice addition with inexpensive and good food. The Tuna Salad at Tommy's market in Duck is worth the trip...be sure to get a bagel to pile it on.

and one other recent addition...DUCK DONUTS ! the best you will ever have !
